Harvesting Hope with Clackamas Service Center
Bishops is pleased to announce our sponsorship with Clackamas Service Center for their upcoming benefit event, Harvesting Hope. The organization operates as a food pantry and provides access to essential services in the Clackamas and surrounding area. Some of the services facilitated include hot meals, use of the center as a mailing address, and free hygienic supplies. Medical and Dental services are also provided by Outside/In on a weekly basis. The 8th edition of the annual luncheon event, set for September 27, will feature guest speakers from Clackamas community leaders and also stories from folks helped by CSC like Dave.
Giving back to the local Oregon community has always been a core belief in our ethos. Since our 1st Portland location, we’ve partnered with everyone from Transition Projects for the Veterans Day Portland Stand Down event to the annual KGW News Toy Drive. Nationally, Bishops aligned itself with organizations like Strands for Trans and Movember. Bishops CEO Leigh Feldman says, “We are always excited about partnerships with aid organizations like Clackamas Service Center. Any group that works hard to strengthen the lives of all members in our community is a group that Bishops will always stand by. Bishops is all about making everyone feel their best.”
