Sketchy Tank Solo Show at Flat Blak

Sketchy Tank is an illustrator, designer, beer drinker, cannabis smoker, father, husband and Swamp Wizard. Though his art is may not be everyone’s cup of tea, that’s probably the point. The mostly black and white vector based art mixed with the disgusting and the disturbing, is inspired by found imagery of outrageous porn, death, dismemberment but also hideous tattoos, skateboarding, surfing and low brow art and design.

Team members from the different Bishops Portland locations are joining  Sketchy Tank and The Lurking Class crew for an evening as they show off their original canvases, give free raunchy tattoos, and enjoy Sizzle Pie and 10 Barrel Brewing Company. The event is being hosted by Flat Blak gallery on November 10th, from 5-9 PM. Bishops PDX will be onsite, talking to folks about hair, art, beer, music and how they all fit into the Bishops ethos.
