Pacific Center for Human Growth Partnership
Bishops Walnut Creek has a new partnership with the Pacific Center for Human Growth. The non-profit has been a staple in the Bay Area LGBTQIA+ community since their formation in 1973. On the first Tuesday of each month, Bishops will be donating 20% of shop proceeds to the PCHG with the first drive kicking off on March 3rd. Pacific Center for Human Growth is the oldest LGBTQIA+ center in the Bay Area, the third oldest in the nation, and operates the only sliding scale mental health clinic for LGBTQIA+ people and their families in Alameda County. Utilizing nearly 200 volunteers and 11 staff members, Pacific Center provides direct services for Alameda County and the greater Bay Area LGBTQIA+ communities. Currently, they serve over 3,000 people a year through community programs and partnerships in the local area.
