Haircuts provided to Denver’s Senior Support Services by Bishops Rino
On April 11th, Bishops Rino provided free haircut and beard trim services to Senior Support Services in Denver. The day center is a beacon of hope for the city’s hungry and homeless senior population providing them with an environment to socialize and and receive services in a safe space. Free meals, clothing , internet access, financial counseling, health screenings and mental health care are just a few of the services that the center provides.
Bishops Rino manager Heather and stylist Alex were able to provide haircuts and/or beard trims to almost 30 clients, most of whom are unable to afford regular quality hair care otherwise. Beyond the haircuts, the they were able to provide a small moment of normalcy for folks who have nowhere to sleep at night. Rino shop owner Richard Lyford plans sending a team to the center monthly to help make a difference for those less fortunate in the community. Giving back to our local communities has always been a priority for the Bishops ethos. We have always made this a priority and have worked extensively with similar organizations throughout our history ranging from Impact NW to The Salvation Army.
