Covid19 Precautions Bishops Lake Forest

The Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce held their weekly Facebook Live session “Open for Business”.   The show delves into successes and challenges faced by businesses in their section of Orange County especially in the wake of a pandemic.  Hosted by Steve Smith, this week’s topic was “Local Hair Salon Opening Strategy”. Lea Chicoine, owner of Bishops Lake Forest and East Irvine, was the guest for the May 18th show. She revealed the enhanced precautions her shops will be taking once area salons and barbershops are allowed to reopen. A few of the many measures include new vinyl dividers between stations, removing the waiting room and for clients, the pleasant surprise of free shampoos now included with all hair services.  The shops have also entered into a partnership with local beer stalwarts Left Coast Brewing. The brewery pivoted to manufacturing hand sanitizer once the pandemic arrived and will be providing both Bishop locations with trial sized sanitizers to be given to all clients.
