Bishops Bend donates haircuts to Veterans for the holiday weekend
In a heartfelt tribute to the veterans of Central Oregon, Bishops Cuts/Color, nestled in the heart of downtown Bend, went above and beyond on Saturday, November 11th. The hair salon / barbershop graciously offered a day of complimentary hair services, including the ever-popular haircut buzz cut, a relaxing shave, and a rejuvenating shampoo experience.
The initiative, driven by a deep appreciation for the service and sacrifices of our veterans, aimed to uplift their spirits through the transformative power of grooming. Rio, the manager at Bishops, emphasized the significance of this gesture, stating, “A lot of times, them just coming in and getting their haircut makes them feel good about themselves. And that’s literally the least, the very least we can do for them.”
Bishops Cuts/Color Bend can be found at 130 NW Oregon Avenue, conveniently situated across Gasoline Alley from U.S. Bank. It’s not just a salon; it’s a space where gratitude meets grooming, creating a memorable experience for our honored veterans.
