As many know, Colorado winters are known to be on the brutal side and especially with hair exposed to the elements. Fox 21 News once again visits Bishops North Academy to glean some essential knowledge to protect against weather damaged hair. Field reporter Mia Atkins receives a deep conditioning treatment from shop manager Melinda Drappeaux.  They also go over the variety of services the shop offer and discounts offered to military personnel and their families.

Melinda further educates everyone on the differences of treatment of straight versus curly hair and deep conditioning treatments.  Additionally, she explains the Sebastian products on hand that repairs and maintains hair against the especially dry climate of Colorado.

Melinda goes on to preform a micro dermabrasion scalp treatment aka “a facial for the scalp”. Shop owner Joe Stuchel, seen receiving the treatment, goes on to relay the information regarding the upcoming “Give Back Monday” events happening at the shop with a percentage of the shops service totals going back to designated charities.
