Voyage Houston Interview with Jael Pettigrew

VogageHouston recently interviewed Bishops Houston Midtown shop manager Jael Pettigrew.  The Houston blog, an off shoot of  the Los Angeles Voyage Group Magazines, focuses on short interviews and features of local artists, creatives and others who “go off the beaten path, take risks and try to serve their community with something unique and special”.The article delves into Jael’s beginnings in her hometown of Atlanta as she gained valuable “behind the scenes” experience first as front desk at salons to ultimately becoming an apprentice at Meldora’s of Atlanta before their sudden closure. Undaunted, Jael immediately enrolled at Paul Mitchell The School Atlanta and once graduated took a leap first by moving and becoming a part of Bishops Houston Midtown.  Her journey has led her to become the shop manager while juggling her other business Cut, Colored + Crowned which she does to take care of her Atlanta hair clientele.
