Ronald McDonald House Charities Tampa

August 2019 was a busy one for our Bishops St. Petersburg as they partnered up with Ronald McDonald House Charities Tampa to raise funds for the local chapter RMHC of St. Petersburg East House located next to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.  Like the national parent organization, these houses provide a place to stay for families with hospitalized children under 21 years of age being treated at nearby hospitals and medical facilities.  For every service on Tuesdays in August, the shop donated $2 to RMHC with the shop also providing free haircut cards to the residents of the St. Petersburg RMHC house.

The shop also organized a music concert, The Summer Sundown, on Friday August 16, 2019 with all proceeds going towards the RMHC. Artists appearing were American Idol 2016 contestant Kerry Courtney kicking off the evening followed by Wyatt Norton and Mwiza E Simfukwe  finishing the night.

Bishops St. Petersburg will be featuring a different local organization each month to raise proceeds for on Tuesday of every month.  September 2019 will see the shop donating $2 for each haircut to Casa St. Petersburg.
