HAIR SALON OPENS IN PLEASANTON
Attention residents of Pleasanton, California: it’s time to get your damn hair cut! That’s right. Bishops Cuts/Color opened the doors of our store in the East Bay this past week.
Every Bishops location is unique and includes a one-of-a-kind mural from an artist from the community. Pleasanton store owner, Richa Srivastava worked with artist, Lorenz Sonneman to transform the blank wall into a visually appealing piece with fluidity and movement. A lot of thought went into the project, which is no doubt recognizable in the finished product.
Lorenz’s morose style is very much in the piece but is balanced with pops of orange to tie it into the Bishops brand and bring forth a version of his work that’s positive and bright. As store owner Richa Srivastava said, “it’s a representation of being who you are but still being able to amalgamate.” We think it’s perfect!
Bishops Cut/Color loves celebrating differences. We are unapologetically ourselves and we encourage others to do the same with haircuts and color. Do you need to express yourself with a new haircut? Maybe you’re on the lookout for a hair stylist for curly hair? Come say “Hi,” see the artwork IRL (it’s definitely Instagram content worthy), and we’ll take care of you!
