Here to Stay at University Place
Located in University Park, WA, The Village at Chambers Bay is a hamlet of apartments, community offices, restaurants and retail. Open since 2015, the mixed use development is anchored by a Whole Foods and the city’s library. Plans are underway for the University Place city hall to eventually move there as well, with the hub as a whole as close to a “main street” that the growing Tacoma suburb has. The pandemic obviously had a direct hit on most of the businesses located there. As a combination hair salon/barbershop or “hair shop”, Bishops University Place was one of the last businesses able to reopen. Pierce County entered into Phase 2 on June 5th with the shop reopening the next day. The TVCAB website also has a page focused on Covid sanitation practices taken by each business here including Bishops UP.
Tacoma based creative agency, Fosters Creative, just produced a series of short promo videos for TVACB welcoming back customers and residents. The Bishops dedicated video is directly below along with the longer promo for TVACB
Bishops University Place is open 7 days a week currently for appointments only. Visit them at 3633 Market Place W Suite 6 University Place, WA 98466
