Bishops in Arizona Donate Over 350 Haircare Products

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Bishops Tempe at The Wedge and Bishops Gilbert at SanTan Village made a couple of large donations last month. Over 350 haircare products– all of the unopened Schwarzkopf retail and unused back bar items were donated to the House of Refuge. House of Refuge is a faith-based, non-profit, which offers supportive services and transitional housing to families in need. If you didn’t know, Bishops is proud a Community Partner to House of Refuge and offer their residents hair cut services at NO COST! To learn more about how you can help, check out their website.

To make room for new Wella products, the two Arizona stores also donated all of their unopened color tubes to the High School and Adult Academy of Cosmetic Arts at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT). EVIT’s  mission is to provide a productive, technically trained workforce that meets the market-driven needs of business and industry. They offer more than 40 tuition-free, career specific classes for high school students. It is Bishops Cut/Color’s pleasure to give back to the community through these types of donations.
