Fox 21 and Bishops
Bishops North Academy has had a busy Fall 2019! Since August, the shop has been the preferred partner for on-air talent at Fox 21 News. The TV channel has also featured the shop in a series of on-air features. The early October spotlight introduced the Bishops brand to Colorado Springs at large. The first segment here has reporter Mia Atkins checking in with owner Joe Stuchel as they run through his background and Bishops as a whole.
Mia also received a refresh on her balayage at the shop from manager Melinda Drappeaux who also did her original color service. They also discuss the shop’s ample 20% military family discount and the daily in-store service happy hour (1-3).
The two go over the shop’s dedication to giving back to non-profits with their “Give Back Mondays” program.
The November spotlight brought a nod to NO Shave November aka “Movember“. Melinda is back on the scene doing a quick beard trim and providing some tips and tricks for beard maintenance. Plant based soap company Buff City also makes an appearance.
