Fight Hunger in Richmond

Bishops On Broad is doing their part to fight hunger! For each non-perishable food item donated during your service, receive $1 off up to $5 off total.  All donations will go directly to Feed More, central Virginia’s core hunger relief organization.  The organization has a multitude of programs to combat hunger.  With 1 in 7 kids in Central Virginia not receiving necessary nutrition, their Kids Cafe partners with local schools to provide made from scrach meals from their community kitchen. Another program, a partnership with Kroger, is the Mobile Pantry, which distributes thousands of pounds of nutritious food to families where they live especially those who live in food deserts. Meals on Wheels and the Commodity Supplemental Food are their programs that specifically serve Seniors and disabled residents in the area. Feed More also has a wing dedicated to helping those facing emergency food shortages with TEFAP.
