Colorado Springs Pride 2019 with Bishops North Academy

Bishops North Academy celebrated their first Colorado Springs Pride Event on July 13th and 14th.  In addition to putting out the celebrated Bishops Wheel for prizes, the shop also collected donations for Inside Out Youth Services.  The organization (est 1990) is the only non-profit organization in El Paso County that serves lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and questioning youth. Their goal is to empower, educate and advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender,  questioning, queer, intersex, and a spectrum (LGBTQ+) youth from Southern Colorado, primarily El Paso and Teller counties in a safe accepting space for young adults between 13-22 years of age.

Bishops North Academy is dedicated to following the Bishops ethos of empowering all clients to “be whoever you want to be, different is good, diffeent should be celebrated and we can be different together”
