Bishops Oakley Gives Back for Breast Cancer

The local Cincinnati charity event, Overlook or BUST was back and better than ever! Overlook Lodge teamed up with the Pink Ribbon Girls to raise money and awareness for– you guessed it, breast cancer. Bishops Oakley donated a gift basket filled with assorted hair products, Bishops gear, and discount cards for the raffle where all proceeds go to the charity. The raffle is just one of the ways the event raises funds. The venue also teamed up with Woodburn Brewery to create an exclusive beer collaboration to be sold not only at the event, but throughout the month of October. Shirts in pink or grey were available for purchase at the event, too. A $1 from each beer and shirt sold went to the local Pink Ribbon Girls chapter. And what’s a party without music? Tunes were provided by by Soulstep Records. Giving back to the community and the greater society at large is important to Bishops Cut/Color. The Bishops Oakley team was humbled to be able to provide a wonderful basket to be raffled off for an important cause. The Pink Girls organization was founded by breast cancer survivors with a passion for supporting and empowering others who are currently in the fight for their lives. They don’t want to only talk about cancer, they want to TAKE ON cancer. The Pink Girls strive to assuage some of the anxiety that breast cancer brings to individuals and families by providing complimentary services of healthy meals, housecleaning, rides to treatment, and peer support to clients, ensuring No One Travels This Road Alone…™ For more information, check out their website.
