Beau Stanton Paints East Irvine Mural
Bishops Cuts/Color loves celebrating diversity, freedom of expression, and art– that’s why no Bishops is complete without a one-of-a-kind mural. The Bishops East Irvine store, one of our newest locations, worked with Beau Stanton to transform the blank wall into a powerful mural. The finished product is an exquisite masterpiece full of strength and color. We love the vibe it creates for our gender neutral hair salon.
Beau Stanton is a multi-disciplinary artist. Not constrained to one medium, his work takes the form of paintings, murals, large scale installations, stained glass, mosaics, and multimedia animations– to name a few. Stanton’s work is inspired by historic ornamentation, religious iconography, and classical painting. His love and appreciation of iconic visual symbols and Jungian archetypes provides the foundation for his images. Stanton is originally from California where he studied Illustration at Laguna College of Art and Design. He relocated to New York in 2008 after receiving his BFA where continues to live and work in Red Hook, Brooklyn. His work has can be seen on walls and in galleries worldwide. The Bishops East Irvine is both honored and humbled to have his work featured in the store.
